One of our favorite parts about creating engagement rings is receiving client photos and reading their love stories. Behind each Zen Moissanite ring is a beautiful & unique love story that we are so grateful to be a part of. Celebrating milestones with our clients is such an honor, and is a significant source of motivation in the work that we do. Our Love Story
We officially met at an event for the Canada Games in August 2022. However, I had a crush on Justin back in high school when I was in grade 9, and he was in grade 12B! I thought he was SO cute, but he had no idea who I was. Nearly 10 years later, we reconnected through my best friend who also happens to be his cousin. We had our first official date in October that same year, and the rest is history. We got in engaged in May 2023, and married in July 2024.

The Proposal
Justin had the idea of planning "Vic Day", which now takes place on May 6th every year. The day we got engaged, we did all of my favourite things starting with breakfast at Bob Evan's, followed by a Target run with Starbucks. Afterwards, we went to Megalomaniac, my favourite winery, for dinner. We stopped to pick up desserts on our way to our final destination which was Ryerson Park in Niagara-on-the-Lake. Justin knows how much I love the beach, making sunset the perfect time of day to propose. After arguing about whether or not I should put the box of desserts in the backpack (which I refused to do), we walked down to the beach where there was a gorgeous set-up ready for the two of us. We both agreed that we don't remember much of anything from the proposal, but that it was truly one of the most special moments of our lives.
How did you decide on a Zen Moissanite piece?
I am a control freak and sent the link including the size and specs I was looking for. Justin was more than happy that he didn't have to make the decision about the ring!

I am obsessed with my rings. I have had my eye on Harley for a LONG time, and knew that Nicole was the perfect ring to complete my set. I tried other rings and none of them are quite as stunning as mine. I get compliments ALL the time about the sparkle and design!

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day and why?
It is too hard to choose one!
Either our private vows in with mimosas in our white fluffy robes before we got ready OR that moment we saw each other when I came down the aisle (since we didn't do a first look).
Can you share some behind-the-scenes anecdotes or unexpected twists from your wedding day?
I can honestly say that we didn't have any unexpected twists
and that it truly was the best day ever.

What advice would you give to future brides who are planning their weddings?
Hire a day of wedding coordinator! It was the best money I spent on our wedding. The entire day ran so smoothly and I didn't have to worry about any of it.
