One of our favorite parts about creating engagement rings is receiving client photos and reading their love stories. Behind each Zen Moissanite ring is a beautiful & unique love story that we are so grateful to be a part of. Celebrating milestones with our clients is such an honor, and is a significant source of motivation in the work that we do. Our Love Story
Eric & Émilie were in the same grade 2 class. A few decades later, they reconnected the good ol' modern way - thanks to Bumble. One silver lining of the pandemic was the amount of time they got to spend together. They have a lot of common interests and enjoy doing many activities as a couple, such as skiing, paddleboarding, photography, playing board games, going on road trips, and spending time outdoors. In the spring of 2023, they became co-homeowners. Not long after the move, Eric surprised Émilie with a proposal while on a hike in Gatineau Park.
That was followed up with lunch at the Chelsea Pub and an afternoon at Nordik Spa.

Please share your thoughts about your Zen Moissanite ring
Absolutely love them both! The Lili band is the perfect complement to my Randi engagement ring. I also mixed metal colours, and I love love love how they look together. When is too soon to stack another band on?
How did you (or your partner) decide on a Zen Moissanite piece?
It was a local, woman-owned company - no brainer! It was also really important for me to have something ethical and durable, so moissanite just made sense. We loved going into the showroom and seeing/trying all the band options before committing.

What was the most memorable moment of your wedding day and why?
Our first look, because it was so intimate and calming before the rest of the day.. but also maybe the ice cream truck we had come for dessert! We didn't want a wedding cake, so having the truck come was an amazing and fun little non-traditional addition to the reception and evening portion.
What advice would you give to future brides who are planning their weddings?
Go with your gut, and have your day reflect who you are as a couple as much as possible.

How did you choose the theme or style for your wedding, and what inspired your decisions?
We wanted our wedding to feel like an elevated backyard BBQ, and I think we succeeded in bringing this vision to life. We had our ceremony outdoors under a huge tree, and our reception was in a big white-top tent.
