Bryce & Grace Love story

Your Happily Ever After

One of our favorite parts about creating engagement rings is receiving client photos and reading their love stories. Behind each Zen Moissanite ring is a beautiful & unique love story that we are so grateful to be a part of. Celebrating milestones with our clients is such an honor, and is a significant source of motivation in the work that we do. We pride ourselves for working closely with our clients to provide a collaborative and stress-free experience and for bringing their vision to life (and their dream ring to their finger)! We hope you enjoy these stories and testimonials as much as we did!

Our Love Story

Bryce and I both went to Iowa State University in 2017. I was a freshman in college, newly understanding the importance of living on my own and having responsibilities to carry (crazy concept, right?!), and meeting new people that   I still cherish to this day. He was a junior in college, working towards his engineering degree, having fun with his friends. A friend of mine mentioned thatshe knew of a party going on at, what I now and will forever know as, the "Ski House". I still giggle when I tell people the name.

My roommate and I made the last minute decision to go and have some fun.    I never knew that going to a party in college would change my life forever and I'm so grateful it did. I walked into a house full of people dancing to loud music, playing random games and just overall having a good time. As cheesy as it sounds, the moment I walked in I saw a cute, tall, brown curly haired boy from across the room and felt the pit of my stomach drop to my toes. To this day I still tell him that I knew then and there that we would be something special. But of course, as the girl I was then, I couldn't gather the courage to spark up a conversation. Lucky enough for me, my roommate saw him walk behind me and said "Just talk to him!!!!" and what do you know,

I turned around and I was face to face with the love of my life. Completely horrified, of course, because I couldn't find ANY words to say at the time. I still give my roommate credit for encouraging me to talk to him, because really, I wouldn't have if it weren't for her. Eventually I did find something to say, even if it was really awkward. I'm typically known for that. He asked me if I would dance on the couch with him (do all college kids do this?) and ironically, I said no. He was convinced I wasn't into him after I said no, but I resorted to dancing on the table with him instead. Smart, right? It was fun though, I do have to admit. A day later we sat together, watching friends on Netflix, and told each other about our lives.

This is significant because we both were pretty reserved people. He ended up asking me "Do you like goldfish?". Of course the answer was yes, so we ate goldfish and continued to chat about... everything. Still, to this day, we buy goldfish and ask the same question. That might be my favorite memory. The rest is history. We've been together ever since, now living in Milwaukee together. I still thank the stars for aligning that night. My younger self and my future self could never be more thankful. He is an angel, my love continues to grow for him every day.

... I never knew that going to a party in college would change my life forever and I''m so grateful it did.

The Process

Zen's designs are so beautiful. I made slight adjustments to my Lyndi but it couldn't have turned out more perfect. I still stare at it all day, every day, it seems. Customer service was amazing. Communication never seemed to be cut short and I appreciated that, I know Bryce did as well.

I will never hesitate to tell others where my ring came from, because the company deserves the recognition! I am thankful for the whole process.

How did you decide on
a Zen Moissanite piece?

I originally found Zen on Etsy. I found the Harley ring first, and even though I loved the design, I had my now fiance look at all of the rings with me. He loved how unique the double band was, as well as the marquise stone.

I agreed with him and it was the best decision we could have made. It's so incredibly unique and different.  I will love it forever!!
