Zen Moissanite is a rapidly growing female-founded fine jewelry company specializing in customized engagement rings and fine jewelry. We are seeking a Social Media Manager to become an integral part of our team. Previous experience in content creation and social media management is required. The ideal candidate has the ability to innovate, multi-task and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. This is a full time role. Currently requires in-person & remote work in Wendover, ON. Hours of employment are 9-5 but must include one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) coverage. Pay is commensurate with experience. Our Social Media Manager will focus on providing a high level of content creation and publishing to ensure social growth & awareness, increased following, sale conversion, and brand image.

Job Description


  • Maintain, develop, implement and manage our social media strategies - to align with business goals - including establishing new presence on emerging platforms 
  • Develop content to increase community engagement online
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content daily (e.g. original text, photos, videos and news) 
  • Create a brand persona through the brand’s online channels
  • Define most important social media KPIs and track them
  • Monitor and proactively increase social traffic, growth and engagement performance across all platforms
  • Create and review social and video content, as well as social campaigns, ensuring traffic growth targets are met 
  • Utilize the social channels most relevant to the brand on a daily basis (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, Youtube, etc.) 
  • Create successful social media ad campaigns that will generate sales/leads 
  • Work with relevant influencers or complementary brands to grow the company’s social following organically
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries through social networks in a timely manner and monitor customer reviews 
  • Oversee social media accounts’ design (e.g. Facebook timeline cover, profile pictures and blog layout) 
  • Stay up-to-date with current/latest technologies,trends, and best practices in social media, design tools and applications
  • Work together with our content creator/photographer, graphic designer, and management to create compelling content for publication or campaigns 
  • Use social media marketing tools such as Buffer 
  • Attend educational virtual conferences and relate relevant information to the appropriate staff (if applicable) 
  • Work with copywriters and designers to ensure content is informative and appealing 
  • Monitor SEO, web metrics and user engagement and suggest content optimization 
  • Train other team members (as needed) 
  • Provide constructive feedback 
  • Present ideas & final product to Senior Management 


  • Social Media Strategist using social media for brand awareness and impressions 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of social channels relevant to the company’s success 
  • Must be proficient in Excel and Mac computers, and Google Suite 
  • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video) 
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics 
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels 
  • Familiarity with web design 
  • Resourceful/fast learner with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment 
  • Be organized with rigorous attention to detail 
  • Have strong problem-solving skills Good time-management skills

  • Experience as a Social Media Associate/Manager or similar role

  • In-person (up to 5 days a week) position in Wendover, ON, with some remote work. This will be determined by the employer. 
  •  Office Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm 
  •  Must be able to work one weekend day (either Saturday or Sunday) or half days on both weekend days. 
  •  All work equipment will be provided by the employer
